Oquirrh is a place in Salt Lake County, Utah, in the United States. It's called a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area that looks like a town or community, but it doesn't have its own official city government.
Oquirrh is named after the Oquirrh Mountains nearby. It used to be part of another community called Kearns. However, the city of West Jordan grew and took over some land, which separated Oquirrh from Kearns. In 2000, parts of Oquirrh also became part of West Jordan.
