Orlando Ribeiro de Oliveira (born on January 9, 1967), known as Orlando Ribeiro, is a Brazilian football coach and former player. He used to play as a central defender. Currently, he is the head coach for the Corinthians under-20 team.

Orlando Ribeiro's Playing Career
Orlando was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He started his football journey at just 11 years old. He joined the youth team of Juventus-SP. After playing for their main team, he moved to Ituano. In 1993, he joined Atlético Mineiro, a big team in Brazil's top league, Série A.
Playing for Different Clubs
After his time at Atlético Mineiro, Orlando went back to Ituano in 1994. He then played for several other clubs in his home state. These included teams like Sãocarlense, Francana, and União Barbarense. He also played for Santo André, Etti Jundiaí, and São José-SP.
Orlando retired from playing football when he was 37 years old. A highlight of his playing career was winning the Campeonato Paulista Série A2 in 1998 with União Barbarense.
Orlando Ribeiro's Coaching Journey
After retiring as a player, Orlando Ribeiro began his coaching career. In 2010, he joined São Paulo as a technical evaluator. This role involved scouting and assessing young talent.
Coaching Youth Teams
The next year, in 2011, Orlando became the coach for São Paulo's under-15 team. He then moved up to coach the under-17 team in 2014. By March 2018, he was in charge of São Paulo's under-20 squad.
In February 2021, Orlando left São Paulo. Later that year, in July, he took on a new role. He became the coach for the under-17 team at Palmeiras. He stayed there until February 2022.
Leading Santos and Corinthians Youth Teams
After leaving Palmeiras, Orlando became the coach for the under-20 team at Santos. In September 2022, he got a big opportunity. He was named the interim coach for Santos' main team. He led the senior team until the end of that season.
For the 2023 season, Orlando returned to coaching Santos' under-20 team. He continued in this role until September 2024. Just eleven days later, he joined Corinthians as their under-20 coach.
Interim Coach for Senior Teams
In April 2025, Orlando briefly stepped in as the interim head coach for Corinthians' senior team. This happened after their previous coach left. He returned to his role with the under-20 team later that month.
