Osama Elsamni (Japanese: エルサムニー・オサマ, Erusamunī Osama; Arabic: أسامة السمني; born on September 29, 1988) is a retired footballer. He played as a striker. Osama is both Egyptian and Japanese.

Osama Elsamni's Football Career

Starting at Tokyo Verdy

Osama Elsamni began his football journey at Tokyo Verdy. He played in their youth team. His older brother, Ali, also played there. Osama was a top scorer in the Japanese Youth Championship. This showed he was a very talented player.

Soon, he was asked to train with the main team. He was given the number 32 shirt. Even though he didn't play in a real game for Verdy, many clubs noticed him. Teams from all over the world were interested. Two of the main clubs were FK Teplice and Belenenses from Portugal. After trying out for both teams, he decided to join FK Teplice.

Playing for FK Teplice

In February 2009, Osama Elsamni signed with FK Teplice. This team plays in the Gambrinus Liga, which is a top league in the Czech Republic.

He made his first appearance for Teplice on March 8, 2009. This was in a game against FC Viktoria Plzeň. Teplice won the game 3-0. Osama helped set up the third goal.

Osama scored his first goal for FK Teplice in the Czech Cup. This happened on September 3, 2009. They were playing against FK Ústí nad Labem. Teplice won the game 4-1. Osama came into the game in the 83rd minute. He scored his goal just three minutes later.

By the end of the 2009–2010 season, Osama had scored 8 goals for FK Teplice B. He also scored 1 goal for the main FK Teplice team. In June 2010, Osama ended his contract with FK Teplice. There was talk that he might join Zamalek, a big team in Egypt. However, this move did not happen.

Time at Montedio Yamagata

In January 2011, Osama joined Montedio Yamagata. This is a Japanese team that plays in the J. League Division 1. Osama was confident in his skills. He said he could score goals with both feet and his head. He also felt stronger after playing in the Czech Republic. He left the club in January 2012.

Joining YSCC Yokohama

On August 16, 2012, Osama Elsamni joined YSCC Yokohama. This team plays in the Japan Football League. He played his first game for them in the 2012 Emperor's Cup. This was on September 2, 2012, against Vanraure Hachinohe.

Osama played 23 games for YSCC Yokohama. He scored 3 goals during his time there.
