Osama Elsamni (Japanese: エルサムニー・オサマ, Erusamunī Osama; Arabic: أسامة السمني; born 29 September 1988) is a retired footballer. He played as a striker. Osama is from both Egypt and Japan.

Osama's Football Journey
Starting at Tokyo Verdy
Osama Elsamni began his football career in the youth team of Tokyo Verdy. He played alongside his older brother, Ali. Osama was a fantastic scorer, becoming the top scorer in the Japanese Youth Championship. His great skills caught the eye of many. Soon, he was asked to train with the main team. Even though he didn't play in a real game for Tokyo Verdy, his talent was noticed by clubs around the world.
Playing in the Czech Republic
In February 2009, Osama moved to Europe. He signed with FK Teplice, a football club in the Czech Republic. He made his first appearance for the team on March 8, 2009. In that game, he even helped his team score a goal!
Osama scored his very first goal for FK Teplice in a cup game on September 3. He came into the game as a substitute and scored just three minutes later. By the end of the 2009-2010 season, he had scored 8 goals for FK Teplice's reserve team and 1 goal for the main team. In June 2010, Osama left FK Teplice.
Back to Japan
After playing in the Czech Republic, Osama returned to Japan. In January 2011, he joined Montedio Yamagata, a team in Japan's top league. He was confident in his ability to score goals. He said he had improved his physical strength while playing in the Czech Republic. Osama played for Montedio Yamagata for about a year.
In August 2012, Osama joined YSCC Yokohama, another Japanese football club. He made his first appearance for YSCC Yokohama in a cup competition on September 2, 2012. He played for YSCC Yokohama until 2016.
Football Achievements
Osama Elsamni helped his team, FK Teplice, win the Czech Cup in the 2008–09 season. This is a big achievement for any football player!
Family and Football
Osama comes from a family that loves football. His older brother, Ali Elsamni, is also a footballer. Their father, Ibrahim Elsamni, was a famous player for the Egypt national football team. In May 2009, Osama shared that he was interested in playing for the Egyptian national team, just like his father.
