Osunlade (born March 13, 1969) is an American musician and music producer. He is known for creating unique sounds that mix different music styles. He has released many albums and worked with famous artists.
About Osunlade
Osunlade grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. He started his music career early. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he even composed music for the popular children's TV show Sesame Street.
After his work on Sesame Street, Osunlade moved to Los Angeles, California. There, he worked with well-known musicians like Patti LaBelle and Freddie Jackson. He helped them create their music.
Later, he moved to New York. He wanted to make the kind of music he truly loved. So, he started his own record label called Yoruba Records. Through his label, he has worked with many talented artists. These include Roy Ayers, Salif Keita, and Cesária Évora.
Osunlade has released several albums over the years. Some of his albums include Aquarian Moon (2006), Elements Beyond (2007), and Passage (2009). He is also a priest in the Yoruba religion of Ifá. This is an ancient spiritual tradition from West Africa.

Producing for Others
Osunlade has helped many artists make their music. In 1991, he worked on songs for Gerardo, including "Rico Suave". He also produced music for Freddie Jackson and Eric Benét. Later, he worked with artists like Musiq Soulchild and Vivian Green.
Mixed Compilations
Osunlade has also put together special music collections. These are called mixed compilations. They include songs from different artists, often mixed together. Some of his compilations are Offering (2002) and Soul Heaven (2006). He also created Defected Presents Osunlade in the House in 2012.
