Owen Smith, known as Owen Benjamin, is an American internet personality. He was also a stand-up comedian and actor. He had roles in movies and TV shows between 2008 and 2015.
Later, in the late 2010s, Benjamin started sharing very strong opinions online. In 2019, he was blocked from many social media sites. This included Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. These sites said he broke their rules.

Early Life and Education
Owen Benjamin was born to John Kares Smith and Jean Troy-Smith. Both of his parents were professors at Oswego State University.
He went to Plattsburgh State College. While there, he worked at the student TV station.
His Acting and Comedy Career
Owen Benjamin appeared in several online video series. In 2008, he played Owen in Gaytown for C-SPOT. In 2009, he was Chance Stevens in CBS Interactive's Heckle U. He also hosted Owen Benjamin Presents in 2008.
In 2008, Benjamin had a part in the comedy movie The House Bunny. The next year, in 2009, he was the main actor in the romantic comedy All's Faire in Love. He starred alongside Christina Ricci in that film.
From 2012 to 2014, he played Owen Walsh on the TV show Sullivan & Son. This show was on TBS. He also appeared on the MTV show Punk'd. He was a reporter twice on The Jay Leno Show.
Benjamin hosted the annual ADG Excellence in Production Design Awards from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, he hosted The Next Great Burger on Esquire Network. He also had a podcast called Why Didn't They Laugh.
