Owendale is a small village located in Huron County, in the U.S. state of Michigan. In 2020, about 275 people lived there. The village is part of Brookfield Township.

Geography of Owendale
Owendale covers a total area of about 0.74 square miles (1.93 square kilometers). All of this area is land. There are no large bodies of water within the village limits.
Education in Owendale
Owendale has one high school. It teams up with the nearby town of Gagetown. Together, their sports teams are known as the Owen-Gage Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs compete in the Mid-Michigan 8-man Football League/ILAC. As of September 2016, the football team's head coach was Jim Wencel. Christopher Robinson and Steve Riske were assistant coaches.
Other sports coaches included Kathy Champagne for volleyball and Mike Sutherland for both girls' basketball and cross country. Mike Sutherland also coached boys' basketball. Brian Wright coached baseball, and Mike Witzke coached girls' softball. Christopher Robinson was the Athletic Director (A.D.).

Owendale's Population in 2010
According to the census from 2010, 241 people lived in Owendale. There were 99 households and 65 families. The village had about 325.7 people per square mile (125.8 per square kilometer).
There were 116 homes or housing units. On average, there were 156.8 homes per square mile (60.5 per square kilometer). Most of the people living in the village (96.3%) were White. A small number were Native American (0.4%) or from other races (0.4%). About 2.9% of the population identified as being from two or more races. Also, 2.9% of the people were Hispanic or Latino.
Out of the 99 households, 36.4% had children under 18 living with them. About 50.5% were married couples living together. Some households had a female head with no husband (9.1%), or a male head with no wife (6.1%). About 34.3% of households were not families.
Almost one-third of all households (32.3%) were made up of single individuals. About 17.2% of households had someone living alone who was 65 years old or older. The average household had 2.43 people, and the average family had 3.02 people.
The average age of people in Owendale was 35.5 years. About 25.7% of residents were under 18 years old. About 9.6% were between 18 and 24 years old. Another 26.1% were between 25 and 44 years old.
