Pagig is a small village located in the Graubünden area of Switzerland. It used to be its own independent town. But on January 1, 2008, Pagig joined with a nearby village called St. Peter. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality named St. Peter-Pagig.

Pagig is quite old! The first time anyone wrote about it was in the year 1160. Back then, it was called de Puigo. People who spoke the Romansh language used to call it Pagiai.

Pagig covers an area of about 5.2 square kilometers (2 square miles). A big part of this land, about 58%, is used for farming. This means there are many fields and farms around.
About 31% of Pagig's land is covered by forests. Only a small part, about 2%, has buildings or roads. The rest of the land, about 8%, is made up of things like rivers or mountains. The village is located in a valley called Schanfigg. It sits on the northern side of this valley.
