Paisley is a small place, or locality, in the Murray Mallee area of South Australia. It sits on one side of the Murray River, directly opposite the town of Blanchetown, South Australia.
Paisley got its official name in September 2000. It was named after the Hundred of Paisley, which is the local land division it belongs to. The Hundred was named way back in 1861 by the Governor, Mr. MacDonnell. He named it after his private secretary, J. G. Paisley.
Getting Around Paisley
