Para Vista is a friendly suburb located in the northern part of Adelaide, South Australia. It's a place where many families live and enjoy community life.
Exploring Para Vista's Location
Para Vista is easy to find on a map of Adelaide. Its southern edge is marked by Wright Road. If you look to the north, you'll see its boundary follows Montague, Nelson, and Milne Roads. This creates a unique "backwards-L" shape for the suburb.
The western side of Para Vista is along Redhill Road. However, the eastern boundary doesn't follow specific streets. This makes Para Vista a distinct area within the larger Adelaide region.
A Glimpse into Para Vista's Past
Para Vista has a short but interesting history. A post office opened here on January 13, 1964. Post offices are important places for sending mail and connecting communities.
However, this post office didn't keep the name "Para Vista" for long. In October of the same year, it was renamed to Valley View. This shows how places and their names can change over time.
