Paradise is a small, unincorporated community in Mono County, California, United States. It is also known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area that the government defines for collecting population information, but it doesn't have its own city government. Paradise is the southernmost community in Mono County. In 2020, about 174 people lived there.

Where is Paradise Located?
Paradise is in the southwest part of Mono County. It's often called a "bedroom community." This means many people who live there travel to nearby towns for work. Some residents work in Bishop, which is about 15 miles (24 km) to the southeast. Others work in Mammoth Lakes, about 26 miles (42 km) to the northwest. Paradise is also a popular place for people to retire.
Geographically, Paradise is located near the bottom of the Sherwin Grade. This is a slope that separates Round Valley in Inyo County from Long Valley in Mono County. Nearby communities include Wheeler Crest to the west, and Swall Meadows and Pinon Ranch to the north.
