History of Paso Palma

Paso Palma has an interesting history, especially linked to how Puerto Rico became part of the United States. After the Spanish–American War, Spain gave Puerto Rico to the United States. This happened under the rules of the Treaty of Paris of 1898. Puerto Rico then became a special area of the United States.
