The Pasquatchai River is a river located in Canada. It flows through two different provinces: Ontario and Manitoba. This river is an important part of the huge Hudson Bay drainage basin. A drainage basin is like a giant bowl where all the rain and snowmelt collect and flow into one main river or lake. For the Pasquatchai River, all its water eventually makes its way to Hudson Bay.

River's Journey

The Pasquatchai River starts from an unnamed lake in Northwestern Ontario. This area is known as the Kenora District. From its source, the river flows for about 115 kilometers (71 miles).

Where the River Flows

Most of the Pasquatchai River's journey happens in Ontario. It travels through the wild and beautiful landscapes of the province. Only the very last part of the river, about 200 meters (656 feet), crosses into Manitoba.

Meeting Another River

The Pasquatchai River doesn't flow directly into Hudson Bay. Instead, it joins another river called the Echoing River. This meeting point is in a part of Manitoba known as Census Division No. 23, which is in the Northern Region of the province. The Echoing River then continues its journey, eventually leading its waters to Hudson Bay.
