Patricia Eileen Marmont (born August 9, 1921 – died December 3, 2020) was an actress and businesswoman. She was born in America but became a British citizen. She acted in Hollywood movies and on television. Later, she became a successful theatrical agent, helping other actors find work. One of her most famous roles was playing the Trojan princess Andromache in the 1956 movie Helen of Troy. She also appeared in an episode of The Adventures of Robin Hood called "The Miser" in 1956.

Early Life and Acting Career
Patricia Marmont was born in August 1921 in Beechhurst, Queens, New York. Her father, Percy Marmont, was also a film actor. During World War II, Patricia joined the Women's Army Corps (WAC). This was a special part of the U.S. Army for women. She was stationed in England during the war.
In 1949, she acted alongside the famous actor Cary Grant in the movie I Was a Male War Bride. In this film, she played a lieutenant from Boston, Massachusetts who was based in England. For a time, she was married to fellow actor Nigel Green.
Becoming a Theatrical Agent
Patricia Marmont stopped acting in the 1970s. She then moved to London, England. There, she started a new career as a theatrical agent. A theatrical agent helps actors find roles in movies, TV shows, and plays. They also help manage actors' careers.
She first worked with another agent, Larry Dalzell, for many years. In 1983, she started her own company called Marmont Management Ltd. Her company became very successful. She represented many well-known actors. These included William H. Macy, Guy Henry, Patricia Routledge, Kenneth Branagh, Alex Jennings, and Julia Ormond.
Family and Later Life
Patricia Marmont had a younger sister named Pamela (1923–1999). Pamela also became a successful actress. Pam Marmont was married to actor Moray Watson.
Patricia Marmont passed away in December 2020. She was 99 years old. She died at Denville Hall in Northwood, London, England.
