Pavel Semenovich Morozenko (born July 5, 1939 – died July 14, 1991) was a famous Soviet actor. He starred in many movies and plays. Pavel was known for his strong performances on both stage and screen. He was even given the special title of "Merited Artist of the Ukrainian SSR" in 1973. This award recognized his great talent and contributions to art.

About Pavel Morozenko

Pavel Morozenko was born in a town called Snizhne in Ukraine. This was part of the Soviet Union at the time. He loved acting from a young age.

In 1960, he finished his studies at the National University of Theatre, Film and TV in Kiev. Right after graduating, he got his first big movie role. He played the main character, Roman, in the film Roman and Francesca. This movie was a touching love story about a Soviet sailor and an Italian girl. It was very popular with audiences. Pavel also starred alongside the famous Soviet actress Ludmila Gurchenko. In 1967, he gained even more fame from the movie Zhenya, Zhenechka and Katyusha.

Pavel Morozenko had a long career that lasted 31 years. He acted in over 30 films. He also performed in many plays at different theaters. These included the Kiev Ivan Franko Academic Theater and the Moscow Vladimir Mayakovsky Academic Theater.

Besides acting, Pavel also did voice-over work. He would lend his voice to dub foreign films into Russian. For example, he was the voice for the main character in the East German film Blood Brothers. He also dubbed characters in several Indian and Polish movies.

Pavel Morozenko sadly died on July 14, 1991. He drowned in the Don River.
