Pepeekeo (which is spelled Pepeʻekeo in Hawaiian) is a small community in Hawaii County, Hawaii, United States. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area identified by the U.S. Census Bureau for statistical purposes. It's not an officially incorporated town or city.
In 2020, about 1,826 people lived in Pepeekeo. This number has grown over the years, as there were 1,789 people in 2010 and 1,697 in 2000.

Where is Pepeekeo Located?
Pepeekeo is found on the eastern side of the big island of Hawaii. You can find it by looking at these coordinates: 19.836537 degrees North and -155.105293 degrees West.
It's located right along Hawaii Route 19. This community is about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) south of a place called Honomu. It's also about 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Papaikou. The larger city of Hilo is about 7 miles (11 km) north of Pepeekeo.
