Peter Browngardt is an American animator, writer, and voice actor. He was born in 1979. He is famous for creating the Cartoon Network show Uncle Grandpa. He also voiced the main character in that show. Uncle Grandpa was a spin-off from his earlier show, Secret Mountain Fort Awesome.
Peter Browngardt has worked on many other popular cartoons. These include Futurama, The Venture Bros., Chowder, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, and Adventure Time. He is currently an executive producer and creative director for Looney Tunes Cartoons.
He has said that artists like Gary Larson, Don Martin, and Tex Avery influenced his work.

Peter Browngardt's Early Life and Career
Peter Browngardt grew up in Sag Harbor, New York. His parents are Judy and Robert Browngardt. He finished high school in 1997. After that, he went to the California Institute of the Arts.
Peter started making animated films when he was only seven years old. His older brothers made Super 8 horror films, which might have inspired him. His first job in animation was working on the show Futurama.
In 2021, Peter Browngardt made a special deal with Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network Studios. This deal allows him to create and produce new animated shows for both studios.

Peter Browngardt directed the first full-length animated Looney Tunes movie. It was called The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie. This movie was shown in theaters in 2024.
