Peter Linz (born June 28, 1967) is an American puppeteer. He is famous for bringing many beloved characters to life. Peter Linz works with the Muppets and on Sesame Street. His most well-known role is performing Walter, a character introduced in The Muppets movie in 2011.

Peter Linz has performed many characters on popular children's TV shows. He was Snook in It's a Big Big World. He also played Tutter and Pip in Bear in the Big Blue House. For The Book of Pooh, he was the puppeteer for Pooh.
His Work on Sesame Street
Since 1991, Peter Linz has been a part of Sesame Street. He performs characters like Herry Monster and Ernie. He has also played Honkers, Osvaldo, el Gruñón, Yo-Yol, and Bif.
His Work with The Muppets
Peter Linz is a key performer for the Muppets. He performs Walter, who is a big fan of the Muppets. After another puppeteer left, Peter Linz took on more famous Muppet roles. These include Statler, Link Hogthrob, Robin the Frog, and Lips. He has performed these characters in movies and live shows.
