Peter Elliot Rae AO is a former Australian politician. He was born in Launceston, Tasmania, on September 24, 1932. He was a member of the Liberal Party. Peter Rae served as a Senator for Tasmania from 1967 until 1986. After that, he was elected to the Tasmanian House of Assembly in 1986, serving until 1989.
