Peter de Jersey, born in 1965, is a talented actor from Britain. He has appeared in many TV shows, including a regular part as Jerome Taylor in The Bill. You might also know him from shows like Broadchurch and Warrior Nun.

Peter de Jersey has had a long and exciting career in acting. He has performed in many different types of shows, from TV dramas to plays on big stages.

On Television

From 2000 to 2003, Peter de Jersey played Steve Waring in the TV show Holby City. He also appeared in other popular series like Doctors and Dalziel and Pascoe. In an episode of New Tricks, he acted alongside another Holby City star, Jeremy Sheffield. In 2020, he was in an episode of Death in Paradise.

A very special role for him was playing Androgar in the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary episode, "The Day of the Doctor". This episode was shown on November 23, 2013.

On Stage

Peter de Jersey has performed with the famous Royal Shakespeare Company. Between 2008 and 2009, he played important characters like Orlando in As You Like It and Horatio in Hamlet. He also played Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

He has also acted with the Royal National Theatre. He was praised for his role as Antiochus in a play called Believe In What You Will. He also performed in Rough Crossings, a play based on a book by Simon Schama.

In 2013 and 2014, he played the general Cominius in a play called Coriolanus at the Donmar Warehouse. He also performed in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Novello Theatre in London. In this play, he acted with famous actors like James Earl Jones and Phylicia Rashad.

More recently, in 2023, Peter de Jersey starred as Voltaire in The Score at the Theatre Royal, Bath. In May 2024, he played the Vet in The Book of Grace at the Arcola Theatre.

In Movies

Peter de Jersey also has some movie roles. He had a supporting role in the 2008 film The Bank Job.
