Pijnacker-Nootdorp is a town in the Netherlands. It is located in the province of South Holland. This area is part of a large urban region called the Randstad.
The town covers about 38.61 km2 (14.91 sq mi) of land and water. Pijnacker-Nootdorp was formed in 2002. This happened when the towns of Pijnacker and Nootdorp joined together. Some parts of the area were also added to the nearby city of The Hague.
Pijnacker-Nootdorp includes three main settlements: Delfgauw, Nootdorp, and Pijnacker. It also has seven smaller, older villages called hamlets. These hamlets are now part of the main settlements. The town is close to big cities like The Hague, Delft, and Rotterdam.
You can travel easily between Pijnacker and Nootdorp and the cities of The Hague and Rotterdam. They are connected by a public transport system called Randstadrail. Nootdorp also has a tram line that connects it to The Hague.
