The Podkarpackie Voivodeship is a special region, or province, located in southeastern Poland. It is also known as the Subcarpathian Voivodeship. Its main city and capital is Rzeszów, which is also its largest city.
This region was created on January 1, 1999. It is home to beautiful natural areas, including Bieszczady National Park and part of Magura National Park. These parks protect many different plants and animals.
