Meet Precious Pupp and Granny Sweet
This cartoon is all about a big, shaggy dog named Precious Pupp. He lives with his owner, a sweet old lady called Granny Sweet. Granny loves riding her motorcycle and is very kind. She doesn't know that her loving dog is actually a bit of a troublemaker in the neighborhood!
Precious Pupp has a special trick. He likes to sneak up on people quietly. Then, he surprises them with a loud, scary bark! He does this to protect his home or just for fun. But he's always careful that Granny never sees him doing it. Precious Pupp doesn't talk like humans do. Instead, he makes a funny, wheezing laugh. This laugh was later used by another famous Hanna-Barbera character, Muttley. Precious Pupp is very clever. He usually outsmarts his enemies, like Bruiser, the neighborhood bulldog. He also often outsmarts his owner, Granny, who never suspects a thing!
There were 26 episodes of Precious Pupp made in total.
