He was born on March 7, 1723, and sadly passed away on August 11, 1725, when he was only two years old. His grandfather, Victor Amadeus II, was the King of Sardinia at the time of his birth.
A Short Royal Life
Prince Vittorio Amedeo was born at the Royal Palace of Turin, a grand royal home in Turin. His parents were Charles Emmanuel III of Sardinia and his first wife, Anne Christine of Sulzbach.
His Royal Title
From the moment he was born, Prince Vittorio Amedeo was given the important title of Duke of Aosta. As the first son of his parents, he was very important for the future of the kingdom. He was second in line to the throne, right after his father. His birth was a big celebration for the royal family and the people of the kingdom.
Early Passing
Sadly, Prince Vittorio Amedeo died at a very young age, just two years old. Later, his father had another son with his second wife. This new son was also named Victor Amadeus, possibly in honor of the young prince who had passed away.
