Hereditary Princesses: Those Who Didn't Become Princess of Monaco
Some women married a future Prince of Monaco but never became Princess Consort themselves. This might be because their husband never became Prince, or their marriage ended before he did.
- Lady Mary Victoria Douglas-Hamilton: She was the first wife of Albert I. They divorced in 1880, so she was never Princess.
- Louise d'Aumont: She was married to Honoré IV. They divorced in 1798 before he became Prince.
- Maria Aurelia Spinola: She was the wife of Ercole, Marquis of Baux. He was a Hereditary Prince but died before he could become Prince of Monaco.
