Prinsburg (pronounced PRINZ-berg) is a small city in Kandiyohi County, Minnesota, United States. It is a quiet place where about 520 people lived as of the 2020 census.

History of Prinsburg
Prinsburg was first planned out in 1886. A man named Martin Prins helped create the town. He was a partner in a Dutch company that sold land.
Martin Prins and his business partner, Theodore Koch, started selling land in the area in 1885. The town of Prinsburg soon grew from there. The city officially became a village in June 1952.

Prinsburg is located in Minnesota. The city covers an area of about 1 square mile (2.62 square kilometers). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water inside the city limits.
Minnesota State Highway 7 is an important road that goes through Prinsburg. Another road, Kandiyohi County Road 1, also passes through the community.
