Promise Amukamara was born on June 22, 1993. She is a talented basketball player. Promise plays as a point guard for the Charnay BB team in the Ligue Féminine de Basketball in France. Even though she was born in the United States, she plays for the Nigerian national team in international games.

Promise is 5 feet, 9 inches tall (that's about 175 centimeters). She went to Arizona State University and graduated from there. Promise also has a famous older brother. He is Prince Amukamara, a former New York Giants football player. Prince won the Super Bowl XLVI as a cornerback.
Promise's Basketball Journey
Promise is a key player for Nigeria’s national female basketball team. She was the point guard for the team at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Those games actually happened in 2021 because of a delay. She also played in the 2018 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup. In 2024, Promise was part of the Nigerian team that reached the Olympic quarterfinals. They played against the United States team.

- Promise was the first female basketball player from Arizona State University to make an Olympic team.

- In 2011, she was named Arizona’s Gatorade Girls Basketball Player of the Year.
- She also held records for the fastest 100 meters and 200 meters as a freshman in high school.
