The Queen Elizabeth Ranges are a group of mountain ranges found in the Canadian Rockies. They are located on the southeast side of Jasper National Park in Canada.
These mountains start east of Medicine Lake. They then stretch southeast, going past the southern shore of Maligne Lake.
About the Queen Elizabeth Ranges
Why the Name?
The Queen Elizabeth Ranges got their name in 1953. This was done to celebrate the coronation of Elizabeth II. She became Canada's Queen that year.
