Quentin Omario Moses (born November 18, 1983 – died February 12, 2017) was an American football player and coach. He played as an outside linebacker. He was chosen by the Oakland Raiders in the 2007 NFL Draft. After his time as a player, he became a coach for Reinhardt University.

Early Life and High School Football
Quentin Moses grew up in Athens, Georgia. He went to Cedar Shoals High School. During his senior year, he was a top player in the state. He was named to several important football teams.
Quentin was also a very good basketball player. Many colleges wanted him to play basketball for them. But he decided to focus only on football.
College Football Career
Quentin Moses played college football for the University of Georgia. He was a standout player there. He earned many awards and honors during his college years.
College Awards and Honors
- 2003: Named to the Sporting News All-Freshman team. This means he was one of the best first-year players.
- 2004–2005: Earned a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll twice. This shows he was good at sports and school.
- 2005: Recognized as an All-American by Sports Illustrated during the season. He was also a First-team All-SEC player.
- 2006: Chosen as a Second-team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation. He was also a Third-team All-American by the Associated Press.
During his college career, Quentin played in 52 games. He made 133 tackles and had 25 sacks. Sacks are when a defensive player tackles the opposing team's quarterback.
Professional Football Career
Quentin Moses started his professional career in 2007. He was picked by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. This was a big achievement for him.
Oakland Raiders
The Oakland Raiders chose Quentin as their first pick in the third round. However, he was released from the team before the season started. He was the highest-drafted player that year who did not make a team's opening day roster.
Arizona Cardinals
After leaving the Raiders, Quentin was picked up by the Arizona Cardinals. This happened on September 2, 2007. He played with them for a short time before being released again in October.
Miami Dolphins
Quentin Moses then joined the Miami Dolphins on October 23, 2007. He found more success with the Dolphins. On November 26, he got his first full sack. He tackled quarterback Ben Roethlisberger during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He continued to play for the Dolphins until 2010. He also played for the Virginia Destroyers in 2011. With the Destroyers, he helped his team win the UFL Championship.
A Heroic Act
On February 12, 2017, Quentin Moses passed away at the age of 33. He died while trying to save others from a house fire in Monroe, Georgia. He bravely tried to rescue his best friend's wife and daughter from the fire. His actions showed great courage and selflessness.
