Quentin P. Riggins (born April 14, 1966) is a former American football player. He was a talented linebacker, which is a key defensive position in football. Quentin played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He also played college football at Auburn University and was part of the Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks in the World League of American Football (WLAF).

Early Life and High School Football
Quentin Riggins grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. He played high school football for the Robert E. Lee High School Generals. At first, he played as a tailback, which is a running back position. Later, he changed to playing linebacker.
Quentin helped his high school team reach the quarterfinals during his senior year. He earned special "all-state" honors for his great playing. Besides linebacker, he also played fullback and handled kickoff duties for his team.
College Football Career
Quentin Riggins played college football for the Auburn Tigers from 1986 to 1989. He was chosen as a team captain in his senior year, 1989. During his last three seasons, he helped the Tigers win three straight championships in the SEC. The SEC is a major college sports conference.
Quentin was recognized as a second-team All-American and a first-team All-SEC player in both 1988 and 1989. Throughout his college career, he made an impressive 398 tackles. A tackle is when a defensive player stops an offensive player who has the ball. In 2009, he was honored by being named to the SEC Football Legends Class.
Professional Football Career
In June 1990, Quentin Riggins signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, a team in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for the Blue Bombers during the 1990 season. That year, his team won the 78th Grey Cup, which is the championship game of the CFL.
After his time in the CFL, Quentin played for the Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks in the World League of American Football (WLAF) in 1991.
Broadcasting Career
Since 1991, Quentin Riggins has worked in radio. He has been a sideline reporter for the Auburn IMG Sports Network. In this role, he covers Auburn Tigers football games, reporting from the sidelines.
Personal Life
In 2011, Quentin Riggins took on a new role outside of sports. He became the vice president of government relations for Alabama Power, a large company that provides electricity.
