Quinton Lenord Ross (born April 30, 1981) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a shooting guard or small forward. Ross played college basketball for the SMU Mustangs. He then played professionally in the NBA for several teams. These teams included the Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Dallas Mavericks, Washington Wizards, and New Jersey Nets.

Early Life and College Basketball
Quinton Ross grew up in Dallas, Texas. He played high school basketball at Justin F. Kimball High School. Ross led his team to the state finals. However, they did not win the championship game.
After high school, he went to Southern Methodist University (SMU). He studied economics there. Ross played college basketball for four years. He was a very good player for the SMU Mustangs. In 119 games, he scored 14.8 points per game. He also grabbed 5.5 rebounds and made 1.9 assists per game. By the time he finished college, he was the fourth highest scorer in SMU history. He had a total of 1,763 points. In 2003, he was named to the first team of the All-Conference USA players. Even with his great college career, he was not chosen in the 2003 NBA draft. This means he was "undrafted."
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Quinton Ross started his professional career. He first played for a team in Belgium. This team was called Telindus Oostende. He played there for one season (2003–04). While playing overseas, he averaged 16.7 points and 4.8 rebounds.
In 2004, Ross signed a contract with the Los Angeles Clippers. He played for the Clippers for several seasons. On January 17, 2007, he scored 24 points in a game. This was his highest score in a single game at that time. It happened in a win against the Golden State Warriors.
Later, Ross played for other NBA teams. In 2008, he joined the Memphis Grizzlies. His cousin, Darrell Arthur, was also on that team. In 2009, he signed with the Dallas Mavericks.
Ross was traded to the Washington Wizards in 2010. This trade involved several players. Later that year, he was traded again. He went to the New Jersey Nets. He played for the Nets until March 2011.
After his time in the NBA, Ross continued to play basketball. In the 2012–13 season, he played for a French team. This team was called Boulazac.
