Quorey played in the Arena Football League (AFL) for teams like the Spokane Shock, Cleveland Gladiators, and New Orleans VooDoo. He also played college football at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

Quorey Payne's Early Life and College Football

Quorey Payne grew up in Clewiston, Florida. He played high school football at Clewiston High School. During his junior year, he caught 30 passes for 522 yards. He also scored four touchdowns. These achievements earned him special honors in his district and region.

As a senior, Quorey had 18 catches for 400 yards. His team finished with an impressive 13 wins and 2 losses. He was also a state champion in the 110 hurdles in both his junior and senior years. Besides football, he also played basketball in high school.

College Career at Southern Illinois

Quorey went on to play college football for the Southern Illinois Salukis. In 2002, he played in all 12 games as a cornerback. He returned 16 kickoffs for 336 yards. In 2003, he played in six games.

In 2004, Quorey changed his position to wide receiver. He played in all 12 games that season. He caught 22 passes for 480 yards and scored six touchdowns. Quorey Payne's Professional Football Career

Quorey Payne started his professional career in the af2 league. In 2007, he played for the Louisville Fire. He was the team's top receiver that year. In 2008, he started with the Green Bay Blizzard. He was traded to the Corpus Christi Sharks later that season.

In 2009, Quorey played for the Mahoning Valley Thunder in the af2. He led his team with 31 total touchdowns that season. Throughout his af2 career, he gained 4,571 all-purpose yards and scored 57 touchdowns.

Playing in the Arena Football League (AFL)

Quorey joined the Spokane Shock in the Arena Football League (AFL) in December 2009. He played in seven games during the 2010 season. He had 20 catches for 207 yards and two touchdowns. He also had one rushing touchdown and led the team with 31 kick returns for 624 yards and two touchdowns. On August 20, 2010, Quorey and the Shock won ArenaBowl XXIII. They beat the Tampa Bay Storm with a score of 69–57.

In December 2010, Quorey moved to the Cleveland Gladiators in the AFL. In the 2011 season, he caught four passes for 54 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned 37 kicks for 747 yards and one touchdown.

Time with the New Orleans VooDoo

Quorey joined the New Orleans VooDoo in February 2012. He played in 15 games for them that year. He had a career-high 93 catches for 1,264 yards and 23 touchdowns. He also returned 31 kicks for 582 yards.

He continued with the VooDoo in 2013. He played in 12 games, catching 53 passes for 798 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also had a career-high 69 kick returns for 1,392 yards and four touchdowns. In 2014, Quorey played in eight games for the VooDoo. He had 48 catches for 586 yards and ten touchdowns. He also returned 12 kicks for 202 yards.

Return to the Cleveland Gladiators

Quorey returned to the Cleveland Gladiators in April 2015. He played in a few games that year. He caught two passes for 28 yards and two touchdowns. He also returned one kick. Quorey Payne retired from professional football after the 2015 season.
