Rachael Alexis Adams, born on June 3, 1990, is an amazing American former professional volleyball player. She was a key player, often called a "middle blocker," for the United States women's national volleyball team. Rachael helped her team win a gold medal at the World Championship in 2014 and a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

Rachael Adams' Volleyball Journey
Rachael Adams started her volleyball journey in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Mount Notre Dame High School where she played volleyball. After high school, she continued to play in college. She joined the team at the University of Texas at Austin.
College Achievements
While playing for the University of Texas, Rachael was a standout player. In 2012, she was chosen as one of the top four finalists for the Honda Sports Award in volleyball. This award recognizes the best female college athletes in the United States.
Playing for Team USA
Rachael was an important part of the USA national volleyball team.
- In 2014, her team won the gold medal at the World Championship. They beat China 3-1 in the final match.
- At the 2016 World Grand Prix, Rachael was named one of the "Best Middle Blockers." She shared this honor with Brazilian player Thaísa Menezes.
- In 2016, she also won a bronze medal with Team USA at the Rio Olympic Games.
Playing for Clubs Around the World
Rachael also played for professional volleyball clubs in different countries.
- With her team Eczacıbaşı VitrA from Turkey, she won a gold medal at the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship in 2016.
- In the 2016–17 CEV Champions League, her team Eczacıbaşı VitrA won the bronze medal. They defeated the Russian team Dinamo Moscow 3-0. Rachael was again recognized as the "Best Middle Blocker" in this competition.
- After the 2017-2018 season, she joined the Italian club Monza. She played in the top Italian volleyball league, called the Italian A1 league.
