Rachael May Taylor (born 11 July 1984) is an Australian actress and model. She became well-known for her acting roles in both TV shows and movies. Her first main role was in the Australian TV series headLand from 2005 to 2006.
Later, she moved to Hollywood and appeared in many films. Some of these include Transformers (2007), Red Dog (2011), and The Darkest Hour (2011). She also starred in popular TV shows. These include Grey's Anatomy, Charlie's Angels, and 666 Park Avenue.
Rachael Taylor is also famous for playing Trish Walker. This character was in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero TV series Jessica Jones. She also appeared as Trish in Luke Cage and The Defenders.

Rachael Taylor was born on 11 July 1984. Her hometown is Launceston, Tasmania, in Australia. Her parents are Christine and Nigel Taylor. She went to Trevallyn Primary School and Riverside High School.
From a young age, Rachael wanted to be an actress. Before she started acting, she spent her childhood modeling. She also took part in beauty pageants. She finished high school in 2000.
Starting Her Acting Journey
Rachael began her career by modeling for Skye-Jilly International. She also won the Miss Teen Tasmania competition in 1998. Soon after, she started acting in American TV movies. She played roles in films about famous people and TV shows. She also appeared in horror movies like Man-Thing and See No Evil.
In Australia, Rachael played Sasha Forbes in the TV show headLand. Her acting was recognized, and she was nominated for a Logie Award in 2006. This award is for the most popular new female talent.
Big Roles in Movies and TV Shows
One of Rachael's biggest movie roles was in Transformers in 2007. She played Maggie Madsen, a smart signals analyst. In this movie, she acted alongside stars like Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. She did not return for the Transformers sequel.
