Raheem Fukwan Brock, born on June 10, 1978, is a former American football player. He played as a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). Brock played college football for the Temple Owls. He was chosen by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2002 NFL draft. Later, he played for the Indianapolis Colts for eight years. With the Colts, he won Super Bowl XLI. He also played for the Seattle Seahawks.

Early Life and Football Beginnings
Raheem Brock grew up in the Germantown area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His father, Zachary Dixon, was also an NFL player. Zachary played as a running back from 1979 to 1985. Raheem spent most of his childhood with his mother, Patricia. He also spent many summers with his father.
High School Football Journey
Brock went to Murrell Dobbins Tech in Philadelphia. He played football there until he graduated in 1996. He was a versatile player, playing tight end, linebacker, and punter. As a freshman, he helped his team win the Philadelphia Public League championship. In his senior year, he was a top player. He made 88 tackles, five sacks, and six interceptions as a linebacker. This earned him a first-team selection by The Philadelphia Inquirer.
College Career at Temple University
Raheem Brock was a four-year starter at Temple University. He played as a defensive end in 39 college games. During his time there, he made 184 tackles and 20 sacks. He also had 38 stops for losses. He earned his degree in marketing in May 2001.
Professional Football Journey
Joining the NFL: The Draft
In the 2002 NFL draft, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Raheem Brock. He was picked in the seventh round. However, the Eagles decided not to sign him. This was due to issues with their rookie salary cap. Other teams were interested in signing him.
Playing for the Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts signed Brock on July 28, 2002. He played with the Colts for eight seasons. He started 104 regular-season games. He often switched between defensive end and defensive tackle. During his time with the Colts, he made 28.5 sacks and 408 tackles. He also forced 12 fumbles and recovered 15 fumbles.
Brock was a key part of the Colts team that won Super Bowl XLI. They defeated the Chicago Bears in that championship game. He also played in Super Bowl XLIV with the Colts. The Colts released him on March 7, 2010. In 2013, he was named to "All-time Indianapolis Colts team" by The Indianapolis Star.
Time with the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks
Brock signed with the Tennessee Titans on August 12, 2010. However, he was released shortly after, on September 5. He then signed with the Seattle Seahawks on September 8, 2010.
During the 2010 season with the Seahawks, Brock had a career-high 9.0 sacks in the regular season. He also added 2.5 sacks in the playoffs. His total of 11.5 sacks in 2010 was his best season performance. He played one more season in Seattle. After that, he became a free agent.
Life After Football
Raheem Brock has focused on helping others. In 2007, he started The Raheem Brock Student-Athlete Scholarship. This scholarship helps students from Dobbins C.T.E. High School. It provides money for male and female students who want to go to college.
