Ramel "Smooth" Bradley, born on February 5, 1985, is a former professional basketball player from America. He was known for playing as a point guard or shooting guard. He played for several teams in Europe and Israel during his career. Before becoming a professional, he played college basketball at the University of Kentucky.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Ramel Bradley grew up in New York City. He went to Manhattan Park West High School. During his senior year, he was a star player. He scored about 20 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and made 6 assists per game.
After high school, Ramel spent a year at the Pendleton School. This school is part of the IMG Academy in Florida. His great skills earned him a scholarship to play basketball at the University of Kentucky. He joined a strong group of new players. This group included future NBA stars like Rajon Rondo.
College Basketball Career
Ramel Bradley played for the Kentucky Wildcats from 2004 to 2008. Even as a freshman, he played in every game. He averaged almost 6 points per game in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
By his second year, he was scoring nearly 8 points per game. However, a broken left hand stopped him from playing at the end of that season. In his junior year, he improved a lot, averaging over 13 points per game. He decided to stay for his senior year. During his final season, Ramel really shined. He averaged more than 20 points per game in SEC play.
Professional Basketball Journey
After college, Ramel Bradley was invited to play in the NBA Summer League by the New Jersey Nets. They were impressed by his hard work.
Playing in Europe and Israel
Ramel started his professional career in Europe in 2008. He joined the Cedevita Zagreb team in Zagreb, Croatia. He played well, averaging over 15 points and 2 assists per game in his first season.
In 2009, he moved to France to play for JDA Dijon. He spent the whole 2009–2010 season there. He averaged 12 points, almost 4 assists, and nearly 3 rebounds per game.
In 2010, Ramel signed with Maccabi Ashdod in Israel. He played 18 games before a knee injury required surgery. This made him miss the rest of the season.
He returned to play for Maccabi Ashdod at the start of the 2011–2012 season. In January 2012, he joined Hapoel Jerusalem. He helped Hapoel win his debut game.
In 2012, Ramel stayed in the Israeli Top League. He signed with Barak Netanya. He continued to play professional basketball until 2016, with his last team being Ankara DSİ in Turkey.
Life After Basketball
Ramel Bradley retired from professional basketball in 2016. He had studied agriculture at the University of Kentucky. In 2017, he moved back to Kentucky.
He now works with an organization called AppHarvest in eastern Kentucky. This group helps promote agriculture in the Appalachia region. They build large greenhouses and teach high school students about farming. Ramel is helping to grow new opportunities in his home state.
