Randy Beverly Jr. was born on December 24, 1966. He is an American football coach. He used to be the head coach for the Rams Milano American Football Club in Italy. He also coached the Örebro Black Knights in Sweden. Randy Beverly Jr. is the son of Randy Beverly, who played for the New York Jets and other NFL teams.

Early Life and Football Beginnings

Randy Beverly Jr. was born in 1966 in Cape May, New Jersey. He went to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). There, he played college football for the UCLA Bruins. He was a defensive back and a return specialist.

In 1984, Randy was named the best football player in Suffolk County, New York. He also earned "First-Team All Long Island" honors. He was a "National Consensus All-American" player. He played quarterback, defensive back, and kick returner for Central Islip High School.

He first planned to play for the University of Notre Dame. But he later signed to play for UCLA. He became a co-captain for the UCLA Bruins. His team won the Rose Bowl and Pac-10 titles between 1986 and 1989. In 1987, he blocked a kick in the Aloha Bowl game.

Randy also worked with NFL teams and their coaches. These teams included the New York Jets and the Minnesota Vikings. In 2015, he was honored in the Central Islip, New York Sports Hall of Fame.

Coaching Career and Achievements

Randy Beverly Jr. had great success as a coach. He led the Örebro Black Knights to the 2015 Superserien Championship Final. This was called Super Bowl XXX. His team played against the Carlstad Crusaders.

After that season, the Örebro Black Knights were ranked 12th among the top American football teams in Europe. Sports Illustrated magazine even wrote about his success with the team.

Before that, Randy coached the Rams Milano Football Club in Italy for five seasons. From 2010 to 2014, his team made it to the playoffs four times. The Rams also played in four "FIF Italian League Championships." They won two of these championships, called "Super Bowls 33" and "35."

In 2014, under his coaching, the Rams offense scored many points. They averaged over 50 points per game in their first four games. Their defense also played very well, stopping opponents from scoring in two games.
