Ranked list of Spanish autonomous communities by population facts for kids
Spain is divided into different areas called autonomous communities. Think of them like states or regions within a country. Each one has its own government and rules, but they are all part of Spain. There are also two special places called autonomous cities, Ceuta and Melilla, which are like smaller, self-governing areas.
This page shows a list of these communities and cities, ranked by how many people lived in them on January 1, 2012. It helps us see which parts of Spain are the most populated!
