Ravenna is a small village located in Muskegon County, in the U.S. state of Michigan. In 2020, about 1,308 people lived there. The village is part of Ravenna Township.

Where is Ravenna Located?
Ravenna is in the southeastern part of Muskegon County. It is about 17 miles (27 km) east of Muskegon, which is the main city of the county. The village is also 9 miles (14 km) north of Coopersville and 23 miles (37 km) northwest of Grand Rapids.
The village covers an area of about 1.19 square miles (3.08 square kilometers). All of this area is land. A stream called Crockery Creek flows through the eastern side of Ravenna. This creek eventually joins the Grand River near Grand Haven.
Schools in Ravenna
Students in Ravenna go to schools run by the Ravenna Public Schools district. This is a smaller school district in a rural area.
- Beechnau Elementary School teaches students from preschool up to fourth grade. It is located right in the village.
- Ravenna Middle School is for students in fifth through eighth grades.
- Ravenna High School serves students from ninth through twelfth grades.
Both the middle and high schools are just north of the village. Their campus has a football stadium, a track, other sports fields, and a bus garage. The school district offices are also in the village, near Beechnau Elementary.
The schools offer many fun activities outside of regular classes. These include different sports and academic clubs. Ravenna also has a private elementary school called Divine Providence Academy. This school is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Grand Rapids and teaches students from preschool to eighth grade.
