Redington Pass is a high mountain pass located in Pima County, Arizona. It sits between two large mountain ranges: the Santa Catalina Mountains to the north and the Rincon Mountains to the south. This pass is just east of the city of Tucson. It reaches an elevation of about 1,310 meters (4,300 feet) above sea level.
For many years, Redington Pass was an important connection. It linked the farming and ranching areas near Redington along the San Pedro River on the east side with Tucson on the west side.

The road that goes through Redington Pass is unpaved. This means it is a dirt road, not covered in asphalt or concrete. Because of its rugged terrain, the area is very popular for outdoor activities.

In the past, some areas within Redington Pass were used for target practice. However, these unofficial areas were closed down by federal officials in 2013.
