Redwood's Neighbors and Borders
To the north of Redwood, you'll find Hays County and the city of San Marcos. Texas State Highway 123 runs along Redwood's western side. This highway goes north about 5 miles (8 km) to San Marcos. If you go south on the highway for about 16 miles (26 km), you'll reach Seguin, which is the main town of Guadalupe County.
