The Reunion District is a cool part of downtown Dallas, Texas in the USA. It's known for two main landmarks: the Hyatt Regency Dallas hotel and the famous Reunion Tower. The name "Reunion" comes from an old community called La Reunion that existed there a long time ago in the mid-1800s.

A Look Back at Reunion
From 1980 to 2009, the Reunion District was home to the Reunion Arena. This big building was meant to bring more businesses and development to the area. However, not much new building happened after the hotel and tower were built.
The arena was once home to the Dallas Mavericks basketball team and the Dallas Stars hockey team. Both teams later moved to the American Airlines Center. The Reunion Arena was taken down in 2009. People thought the land would be used for new projects, but as of 2013, no new plans had been made for the empty space.
