Rhonda Ross Kendrick, born Rhonda Suzanne Silberstein on August 14, 1971, is an American singer and actress. Her mother is the famous singer and actress Diana Ross. Her biological father is Berry Gordy, who founded Motown Records. However, Robert Ellis Silberstein, who was married to her mother, raised her as her legal father.

Growing Up
When Rhonda was born, Diana Ross was married to Robert Ellis Silberstein. Both Diana Ross and Berry Gordy knew that Berry was Rhonda's biological father. Robert Ellis Silberstein raised Rhonda, and she was known publicly as his daughter.
When Rhonda was 13 years old, she learned that Berry Gordy was her biological father. She later said this news was a relief. She had started to notice physical differences between herself and her younger sisters. This information helped her understand why.
Rhonda Ross Kendrick is the oldest of Diana Ross's five children. She is also the seventh of Berry Gordy's eight biological children. She studied at Brown University and graduated from there.

Acting Roles
One of Rhonda's most well-known acting roles was Toni Burrell on the TV show Another World. She played this character from 1997 to 1999. In 1998, she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for her work on the show.
She also appeared in the movie The Personals (1999). Rhonda was also in The Temptations miniseries.
Music Journey
In 2004, Rhonda released her first live album, called Rhonda Ross Live Featuring Rodney Kendrick.
Later, in 2013, she joined her mother, Diana Ross, on the In the Name of Love Tour. Rhonda performed as the opening act for her mother's concerts. In July 2016, she released her first studio album, In Case You Didn't Know. This album included songs like "Summer Day" and "In Case You Didn't Know."
During the COVID-19 lockdown, Rhonda helped write songs for her mother's album, Thank You. This album was nominated for a Grammy Award and came out in late 2021. Rhonda co-wrote the song "All is Well" on the album with her mother and songwriter Fred White.
Other Work
Before focusing more on music, Rhonda also worked in real estate. She was an agent for two years. In 2008, she started her own real estate company in New York City called Ross Realty International.

Rhonda Ross Kendrick married jazz musician Rodney Kendrick on September 14, 1997. They welcomed their son on August 7, 2009.
