The Richerville River is a river in Quebec, Canada. It flows into the Nottaway River. This area is part of the Nord-du-Québec region.
The main activity here is forestry, which means cutting down trees for wood. After that, fun outdoor activities like hunting and fishing are popular.
The river area does not have many roads for cars. The river usually freezes over from early November until mid-May. It's generally safe to walk or travel on the ice from mid-November to mid-April.
Where Does the Richerville River Flow?
The Richerville River is surrounded by other rivers. These are like its neighbors in the water system.
- To the north, you'll find the Nottaway River and the Lepallier River.
- To the east, there's the Louvart River and more of the Nottaway River.
- To the south, you'll see the Fabulet River and the Iroquois River.
- To the west, it's the Iroquois River again and the Kitchigama River.
The Richerville River starts at Richerville Lake. From there, it flows for about 25 kilometers (15.5 miles).
- It travels about 15.8 kilometers (9.8 miles) towards the northwest.
- Then, it turns and flows about 9.2 kilometers (5.7 miles) to the west until it reaches its mouth.
The Richerville River ends by flowing into the south side of Dusaux Lake. The Nottaway River also passes through Dusaux Lake. This meeting point is:
- About 44.4 kilometers (27.6 miles) southeast of where the Nottaway River meets Rupert Bay.
- About 140.7 kilometers (87.4 miles) north of the center of Matagami, Quebec.
- About 115.7 kilometers (71.9 miles) north of the mouth of Lake Matagami.

The name "Richerville" comes from a town in France. This town is located in the Eure area, which is part of the Normandy region of France.
The name "Richerville" was officially given to the river on December 5, 1968. This was the same day the Commission de toponymie du Québec was created. This commission is a group that names places in Quebec.
