Richmondville is a small village located in Schoharie County, New York, United States. In 2020, about 858 people lived there.
The Village of Richmondville is right in the middle of the larger Town of Richmondville. It is also northeast of the city of Oneonta.
History of Richmondville
The village of Richmondville started out with many mills and small factories. These were important for making goods in the early days.
Richmondville officially became a village in 1881. This means it got its own local government.
Two important buildings in the village are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This list includes places that are important to the history of the United States. These buildings are the Bunn–Tillapaugh Feed Mill and the Richmondville United Methodist Church.

Richmondville is located at coordinates 42°38′1″N 74°33′59″W / 42.63361°N 74.56639°W.
The village covers a total area of about 1.8 square miles (4.7 square kilometers). All of this area is land, with no large bodies of water.
A major highway, Interstate 88, goes through the village. Also, State Route 7 (which is also Main Street) and State Route 10 meet in the village. County Road 22 also crosses through this area.
