Rico Richardson grew up in Natchez, Mississippi. He played high school football at Natchez High School. He was a very talented player. He was named to the 1st team All-Region and 1st team All-Metro. He also made the 2nd team All-State.
Setting High School Records
Rico set a new receiving record for Natchez High School. He gained an amazing 3,500 yards during his time there. In his senior year, he caught 46 passes for 891 yards. He also scored seven touchdowns. Rico was also good at running with the ball. He rushed for 442 yards and six touchdowns on 42 carries.
More Than Just Football
Rico was also a star in track and field. He won the Class 5A state championship in the triple jump. His best jump was 46 feet, 11 inches. He also played basketball during his high school years.
College Football Career
