Discovering Riverfront Parkway

The Riverfront Parkway is more than just a path. It connects many different parks and places. It's a great way to explore the riverfront and enjoy nature.

What You Can Do There

The main purpose of the parkway is for biking and walking. It's a safe and fun place to get some exercise. You can ride your bike, go for a run, or just take a relaxing stroll.

Exploring Credit Island

At Credit Island, the bike path actually circles the entire park. This loop is about 2.62 miles (4.22 km) long. It's a perfect spot for a longer ride or walk.

Parks Along the Way

As you travel east from Credit Island, the parkway takes you through several other cool parks. These include Veterans Memorial Park and Centennial Park. You'll also pass by LeClaire Park and River Heritage Park. Further along, you'll reach Lindsay Park.

In Bettendorf, the parkway goes through Leach Park. Each park offers something a little different to see and do.

Public Art and Future Plans

As you explore the parkway, keep an eye out for public art! You can find cool art installations at Credit Island, Lindsay Park, and Leach Park. These artworks add a special touch to your journey.

There are also exciting plans for the future. The Riverfront Parkway might connect to other trails like the Duck Creek Parkway and Sunderbruch Park. This would create an even bigger network of trails for everyone to enjoy.
