Robert G. Clarke, born on March 2, 1967, is a Canadian politician and a former officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). He served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Desnethé—Missinippi—Churchill River area in Saskatchewan. He was a member of the Conservative Party of Canada.

Early Life and Career
Robert G. Clarke is a member of the Muskeg Lake First Nation. He grew up in different towns in British Columbia, including Gibsons, Slocan, and Quesnel.
Before becoming a politician, Mr. Clarke worked for the RCMP for 18 years. He spent all those years working in Saskatchewan. He reached the rank of sergeant in the RCMP.
His Time in Politics
Robert G. Clarke first ran for election on March 17, 2008. He was the candidate for the Conservative Party of Canada in the area of Desnethé—Missinippi—Churchill River. He won this election, defeating the Liberal candidate, Joan Beatty.
As a Member of Parliament, Mr. Clarke worked on important laws. He supported a bill called the Indian Act Amendment and Replacement Act. This bill was a private member's bill, which means it was introduced by an individual Member of Parliament, not the government. This bill became a law in December 2014.
Mr. Clarke ran for re-election in the 2015 Canadian federal election. However, he finished third in that election. He was defeated by NDP candidate Georgina Jolibois.
