Robert Andrew Ri'chard (born January 7, 1983) is an American actor. He is well-known for his roles in popular TV shows. These include Bobby Walker on the Nickelodeon show Cousin Skeeter and Arnaz Ballard on the UPN show One on One.
Robert Ri'chard has won awards for his acting. He received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer in Children's Programming for his role in the TV movie In His Father's Shoes in 1998. He was also nominated for an NAACP Image Award for his part in the 1999 film Light It Up. He also appeared in the sports drama Coach Carter and the horror film House of Wax in 2005.

Robert Ri'chard was born in Los Angeles, California. His family background is Louisiana Creole. He went to Palms Middle School in Los Angeles.
Robert Ri'chard's Acting Career
Robert Ri'chard started acting professionally when he was 13 years old. In 1997, he starred in a TV special called In His Father's Shoes. This role earned him a Daytime Emmy Award in 1998 for being an outstanding performer in a children's special.
TV Shows and Early Roles
After his Emmy win, Ri'chard joined the cast of the Nickelodeon sitcom Cousin Skeeter. He also appeared as himself on the Nickelodeon game show Figure It Out. He played Samuel in an episode of Touched by an Angel. In 2000, he starred in the Disney Channel TV movie Alley Cats Strike.
His big break came in 2001 when he got the role of Arnaz Ballard on the UPN sitcom One on One. He starred alongside Flex Alexander and Kyla Pratt. This role was very important for his TV career. He continued playing Arnaz until the show ended in 2006.
Ri'chard has also made guest appearances on many other popular shows. These include Boston Public, NCIS, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, My Wife and Kids, and The Jamie Foxx Show.
Film Roles and Later TV Work
In 2005, Ri'chard appeared in two movies: Coach Carter and House of Wax. From 2006 to 2007, he had a recurring role in the CW series Veronica Mars. He also appeared in the TBS sitcom Meet the Browns from 2009 to 2010. In this show, he played Derek Porter.
On November 16, 2011, it was announced that Robert Ri'chard was cast as Jamie in the CW series The Vampire Diaries.
More recently, Ri'chard has continued to act in films and TV. He appeared in Bolden (2019), Alone (2020), and Sweetwater (2023). On television, he has been seen in Lucifer and iZombie. He also had recurring roles in the final season of the Fox show Empire and the Amazon comedy series Harlem. In Harlem, he worked again with his Cousin Skeeter co-star, Meagan Good.
