Robert Ray Wisdom (born September 14, 1953) is an American actor. He is famous for playing important characters in TV shows. These include Howard "Bunny" Colvin in The Wire. He also played Norman "Lechero" St. John in Prison Break. More recently, he was Jim Moss in Barry. Robert Wisdom has won an NAACP Image Award for his acting.

Robert Wisdom was born in Washington, D.C. on September 14, 1953. His parents came from Jamaica. He went to St. Albans School. Later, he studied at Columbia University. At Columbia, he was a top runner on the university's track team. He even turned down sports scholarships to attend Columbia. He became interested in acting during his last year of college. He took acting classes just for fun.
