Famous Moves and Goals
On October 18, 2006, Taddei got some attention for a special move he did. He called it "The Aurelio," named after Roma's assistant manager, Aurelio Andreazzoli. This happened during a Champions League game against Olympiacos.
Later that year, on December 23, 2006, he scored an amazing acrobatic goal. It helped Roma win 2–0 against Cagliari.
On April 4, 2007, Taddei scored the first goal in Roma's 2–1 win over Manchester United. This was in the first game of the 2006–07 UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. Unfortunately, he missed the second game due to an injury. Roma lost that game 7–1.

On March 5, 2008, he scored a goal in a 2–1 away win against Real Madrid. This was in the 2007–08 UEFA Champions League round of 16. Roma then played Manchester United again in the quarter-finals. On February 21, 2009, he scored a goal in a 1–0 win against his old club, Siena.
Later Years at Roma
On June 7, 2010, Taddei signed a new 4-year contract with Roma. On January 27, 2011, he scored in a 2–0 win over Juventus in the 2010–11 Coppa Italia quarter-finals.
